Hello!If you're interested in testing out this upcoming update head on over to the Preview branch! You can gain access by right clicking on Unturned in your Steam library, selecting properties, navigating to the Betas tab and entering the secret passcode "OPERATIONMAPLELEAF".


  • Disabled reflections on objects as they looked out of place.
  • Tweaked loading area of navigation so zombies can roam a bit further.
  • Tweaked sun size a bit smaller.


  • Fixed first person view super bright on DX9.
  • Fixed character inspect screen brightness. [Temporary fix]
  • Fixed information screen map brightness.
  • Fixed player icons brightness.
  • Fixed black skybox reflection.
  • Fixed nighttime lighting configuration.
  • Fixed reflective trees.
  • Fixed navmesh visibility.
  • Fixed gaps in shadows.
  • Fixed bumpy spots in roads of PEI.
